Yemen Observer — Our correspondent received news on Saturday that an armed group attempted to kidnap the Bulgarian ambassador to Yemen on Saturday evening in the capital, Sana’a. Eye witnesses said that a group of armed men which according to the authorities could be linked to al-Qaeda tried to abduct the diplomat, a trend which sadly has been plaguing Yemen for the past few months.
